  • 3" x 3" Word of the Month Challenge

In January 2021, we started a monthly word-of-the-month

    challenge!

Each monthly meeting features a different word.

The purpose of creating a 3x3 is for YOU to explore! Try a technique (combine techniques) or a hand that resonates with YOU.

    Ground Rules:

Artwork must be on a 3”x3” background.

The 3x3 Word of the Month must be drawn or hand lettered

List the tools and materials used to create your 3x3 Word of the Month on the backside of the 3x3.

Photograph or scan the front of your 3x3 on a contrasting piece of paper (so the 3x3 stands out from a plain background) email the photo and text to Helen Yu for her to post to our social media.

Enjoy this process, it should be fun and creative!

General Meeting - In-person and Zoom

Note this is a week later due to New Year’s Day

We need your help to determine the future direction of the GUILD.
This means how the upcoming 2022-2023 Season of General Meetings, One-Day Classes and Major Workshop are structured.
Bring your ideas on what we can do to increase participation and get people excited. We need people to step up to leadership positions, serve on a committee, be a co-chair or be willing to share calligraphy knowledge.
For 2022-23 we need to fill the positions of President and Secretary on the Executive Board, One Day Classes Chair, Social Media, and other committees like Hospitality to remain operational as a Guild.
