By popular demand, we are going back to Palma Maria in Casselberry from 12 noon to about 2:00pm and the entire restaurant will be just for our Guild.  Our regular Meeting scheduled for May 5th has been changed because Palma Maria is not open on Sunday.

The entrée and dessert choices are as follows:

Entrees:  Chicken Parmesan, Flounder Francese, or Lasagna

Desserts:  Chocolate Cream Pie, Amaretto Pie, or Peanut Butter Pie

Prior to the April 14th Meeting at the JCC, decide what you want. Then rsvp to Elvie Dolbrus our Secretary at She will record your choices so we can give the restaurant the exact headcount and food choices. You may bring a guest, and the total is $23.00 per person with tax and tip and includes homemade bread, delicious salad, entrée, dessert and beverage of iced tea, coffee or water. Sodas or Wine may be purchased individually. Payments can be made at the April 14 Meeting or mailed to our P.O. Box. Cut-off Deadline is Thursday April 25.

Ask anyone who went to the Holiday luncheon to tell you about the incredible food we enjoyed! As always, if anyone has special dietary restrictions or needs to make special arrangements for payment, please let us know when you RSVP!

I hope you are able to join in the fun and fellowship as we end our Season.

    Romans You Can Cope

    With by Annie Cicale

9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. all days, Roth Family Jewish Community Center - Maitland, FL

This 3-day class will focus on Romans, the building blocks of the majority of our alphabets. As the historical framework of every Western letter form, Romans underlie all our designs and are an essential element of good calligraphy. This class is for beginner to advanced students. This class will be extremely helpful to beginners, who need this background to understand learning the newer hands. And for the intermediates and above, this will reinforce or refresh your knowledge of Romans, maybe add some new twists. Annie will begin the first day with monoline Romans. An introduction to traditional proportion to familiarize ourselves with them so we can stretch and pull them around a bit for some other styles and more modern variations, and then work on pen Romans on the following two days.

The class is not full, if you would like to take the class, please contact
our Workshop Chair -Brian Crimmins at
